Sell bitcoin directly through Bitkey partner MoonPay with others coming soon, plus feature updates and improvements
Starting this week, customers can sell bitcoin directly in the Bitkey App through MoonPay, with Cash App and Coinbase following in the coming weeks.
Since the launch earlier this year, we’ve heard feedback from customers who want to know that it’s as easy to buy bitcoin as it is to sell through a trusted partner.
We’re excited to make this option available as part of our commitment to providing more ways to manage bitcoin with confidence.
Constant improvements to the Bitkey experience
While selling is the latest feature release, the team consistently shipped features and improvements to the Bitkey experience over the past few months, including:
- Hide balance: Tap your balance in the Bitkey app to hide current balance and transaction details.
- Hardware wipe: Ability to wipe and reset a Bitkey device to factory settings for easier recovery testing and transfer of ownership.
- Inactive address notifications: Receive a notification when funds are sent to an inactive Bitkey address. Funds can then be transferred to an active Bitkey wallet.
- Bitcoin price chart: View the current bitcoin price and historical performance in the app.
- Mobile pay now called Transfer without hardware. The feature has moved to the Transfer tab and the daily limit cap has been removed.
- Transaction history and wallet descriptor now available for export.
- Added AUD or CAD as available display currencies.
